This started as an abstract of fluid paint effects and I spotted a woman's twisting figure and voila'! Fashionista appeared! This piece was very different for me but has been well-received. She and her companion original sold quickly! I believe some of the surface texture of the original will translate well to print (as well as the interesting paint effects).
About Lynee Sapere
Lynee Sapere is an award winning painter whose artwork is featured in galleries and shows in California, Washington and Oregon. Her current work is primarily in oils and acrylics employing contrasting textures and luminosity, often juxtaposing thick palette knife passages with thin washes reminiscent of her roots as a transparent watercolorist. The subjects often include figures and people recreating as well as iconic West Coast scenery. Lynee is fascinated by abstractions and enhancing color while also embracing order, design and realism.
