The second in my new series of very fluid paintings. The "movement" of the figure overall is eye-catching from across a room and the close-up of the paint effects is very compelling!
Perhaps there's a little girl in all of us grown women that still thrills to the idea of playing dress-up!
About Lynee Sapere
Lynee Sapere is an award winning painter whose artwork is featured in galleries and shows in California, Washington and Oregon. Her current work is primarily in oils and acrylics employing contrasting textures and luminosity, often juxtaposing thick palette knife passages with thin washes reminiscent of her roots as a transparent watercolorist. The subjects often include figures and people recreating as well as iconic West Coast scenery. Lynee is fascinated by abstractions and enhancing color while also embracing order, design and realism.
