This is a very original 6x8" piece depicting our sleepy little village at dusk. It is painted with a little palette knife in oils with areas scraped to let the real copper sparkle beneath as it reflects light. It is unframed and comes with a coordinating metal display easel.
About Lynee Sapere
Lynee Sapere is an award winning painter whose artwork is featured in galleries and shows in California, Washington and Oregon. Her current work is primarily in oils and acrylics employing contrasting textures and luminosity, often juxtaposing thick palette knife passages with thin washes reminiscent of her roots as a transparent watercolorist. The subjects often include figures and people recreating as well as iconic West Coast scenery. Lynee is fascinated by abstractions and enhancing color while also embracing order, design and realism.
