What's more relaxing and romantic than a tasty picnic with a glass of wine - on the edge of a vineyard! This is a special place on the Central Coast of California where Laetitia Winery offers a lovely path for strolling around the edge of their vineyard near the tasting room.
Visually I was taken in by the lovely rows of grapes and the gnarled ancient old oak tree along the path with its dappled "shadowplay". The views to the west from this spot high on a hill are of the ocean! A lovely and peaceful place. And yummy wine! (the only thing that could make it even more fun...painting it!)
About Lynee Sapere
Lynee Sapere is an award winning painter whose artwork is featured in galleries and shows in California, Washington and Oregon. Her current work is primarily in oils and acrylics employing contrasting textures and luminosity, often juxtaposing thick palette knife passages with thin washes reminiscent of her roots as a transparent watercolorist. The subjects often include figures and people recreating as well as iconic West Coast scenery. Lynee is fascinated by abstractions and enhancing color while also embracing order, design and realism.
